Europa School UK is delighted to announce another year of strong academic achievements for our Upper Sixth International

Baccalaureate Diploma Programme candidates. This is the first cohort to have students who have attended Europa from age 4, benefitting from the innovative bilingual curriculum at this non-selective state school.

Our students have demonstrated exceptional dedication, culminating in an excellent set of results. The current average points score stands at an impressive 34, comfortably exceeding the global average of 30.88.

Exceptional high scores were achieved across the board, with 14% of Europa’s students reaching the prestigious 40+ points milestone, this is equivalent to 4 A*s at A level. 29% were awarded 38 points or above and 38% achieved over 35 points.

Special recognition goes to our two highest-scoring students for their outstanding academic performances with Daniel C-C, who

achieved a phenomenal 44 points, and Jonas K, who secured an incredible 43 points.

Mrs Wood commented “These IB results confirm the strength of the school in advanced languages and the broad IB curriculum offer. We are particularly proud that over 50% of students achieved 6s & 7s in their higher level courses, Equivalent to A or A* at A level.”

On Wednesday 8th July our students were joined by their families, staff of Europa school and invited guests including MP for Didcot and Wantage, Olly Glover,  to receive their diplomas. The Baccalaureate Proclamation took place in the historic quad of the school which, this year, felt more like it was on the Mediterranean than in rural Oxfordshire.Europa is proud to have prepared the students to thrive in universities and workplaces worldwide. The students will embark on their next destinations, including Oxbridge, LSE, Bristol as well as universities in Italy, Belgium and beyond for courses including PPE, medicine, computer science and history amongst many others.  We wish our bacheliers the very best of luck.
