On Monday 17th March, Europa was invited to Parliament to present the work we did last year with the Royal Society ‘Tomorrow’s Young Climate Scientists’ grant. Together with Mina and Andrea from UCL, the current 6FE class learned to code micro:bits to quantify the littering taking place in school.
They were the only primary school represented and the only school who made a speech! Well done to the current 6FE class and to Zak who made a speech in front of MPs, sirs and dames, and made quite an impression! The next phase of the project will start after Easter with the current 5FE class who will design an anti-littering campaign and will learn to use a 3D printer.
