In June 2025, Europa School UK was accredited Eco School for the third time in a row, and once again with merit. A huge well done and congratulations to the Eco Committee and Go Ecolos, from both primary and secondary, and all the children who have been involved in the school’s sustainability projects this year.
Some of the Eco School’s feedback on our 2025 application:
Your greatest overall success: The anti-littering campaign led by 5FE has clearly been more than just a success—it’s been a turning point. Empowering children to tackle a genuine issue using technology shows the power of combining purposeful learning with innovation.

Since June 2023, Europa Primary School is an Eco School!
What is an Eco School?
The Eco School programme aims to rally and unite young people to make realistic but dynamic change, creating positive impacts for our planet now. It provides a simple, seven-step framework to empower young people to make a difference in their school, local community and beyond.
By being an Eco School, Europa is demonstrating that it is committed to teaching young people the skills and knowledge needed to benefit and improve our planet throughout their lifetimes.
