Our S4 students thoroughly enjoyed and fully engaged in the ‘Study Conference’ organised by Oxford Brookes University on Thursday 29th April. This was a motivational and exciting experience. In the morning, the focus was on subjects sessions that boosted confidence and gave a taste of learning at the university level (but accessible for all!).
Then, in an interactive live session, students learned how to build a bank of revision tips and strategies delivered in conjunction with the award-winning “MADE Training’. In the afternoon students had the chance to explore sessions on study skills and whether the university is right for them. At the end of the day, students had a chance to ask questions to current Oxford Brookes students in a live Q+A session.
