The whole of Primary really enjoyed the annual International Day where they had the chance to “visit” several different countries. They learnt about the cuisine,culture and wildlife and even enjoyed playing Boules and learning to dance… The parents involved were very welcoming and the children were extremely enthusiastic about the experience. From the discussion afterwards it was evident that they had learnt many new things and some were inspired towards further research.
The countries this year were Ireland, Columbia, France, India, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand.
