30 students and 3 teachers from ESUK took part in this huge event organised by the European School Varese which takes place once every two years. 570 students from 19 European schools competed in Table tennis, Futsal (indoor football), Volleyball and Aquathlon (600m running- 50m swimming- 200m runnig). Our team have achieved some fantastic results with an overal final position of 10th: Aquathlon: 2nd Table tennis: 2nd Boys volleyball: 15th Girls volleyball: 13th Boys football: 18th Girls football: 11th Pelin Karabulut has been awarded the price for the overall best female Table tennis player of the tournament. More detailed results can be found here. All students who took part showed excellent team work, commitment, sportsmanship, skills and resilience. The Aquathlon race was especially exciting to watch as our students were neck and neck with the Varese team up until the last few meters eventually finishing very close second. Everybody at ESUK should be proud of their Eurosport team and its great achievement and truly fantastic representation of our school. On behalf of the accompanying teachers M.
