To complete the second part of the Austrian language exchange, 19 students travelled to Austria last Saturday. The whole week was based on the theme of borders and crossing them. For example we visited a Zeppelin museum and an art exhibition about borders. Additionally, on one day, we went to the school of our exchanges, the Freie Montessori Schule, where we filled “Glücksbüxen” accompanied by two filming teams, who recorded the process. They were cardboard boxes filled with pens, food and clothes for refugees arriving in Austria. On Wednesday we hiked up mountain “Karren” in beautiful weather.  During the week, we also had two free days to spend with our exchange families. Friday marked the end of our week and so, we left for England.
