The multicultural pupils are engaging, dynamic, open-minded and chatty. The buildings offer a beautiful background and to add to this idyllic picture, the friendliness of the staff makes it such a special place to work in!Beatrice Mallett, Librarian
As a Biology Teacher, it is my belief that the key to success in life is both diversity and adaptability. ESUK offers a rich multicultural environment where teachers are treated as professionals and they are actively encouraged to develop their own approach to the delivery of the syllabus. Perhaps it is for these reasons, that I love the atmosphere and ethos of our school and why I resolve to continue teaching here until I retire.Paul Spriring, Director of Teaching and Learning
From its very beginning, Europa School has been a sensational project. Having worked in the University Sector and various other jobs in London before, I have come to find a home in this unique environment of so many languages and cultures. Management and colleagues alike are tolerant, listing to each other's views and cooperating with each other to achieve the very best outcomes for our fantastic students.
Europa school is a great place to work, the atmosphere could not be better, everyone is happy to help. Being able to compare knowledge with other teachers from different parts of Europe enriches our teaching.Maria Castro Rubio, Spanish Teacher - Primary
I am very proud to be a member of staff at Europa School UK and particularly proud of having been here since the very beginning. I have seen the school grow and develop into a solid, caring, highly stimulating learning institution. The children are safe, well looked after and motivated to learn by a group of very caring and professional teaching staff. The work environment for teacher is the most supportive that I have ever worked in. The teachers’ workroom is a place of collaboration, support, creativity and laughter. I always feel safe and comfortable to discuss my ideas and this collaboration results in a constant development and improvement of my teaching skills. Our leadership is supportive yet not intrusive. We are treated like adults and respected as professionals.Sandra Santarello, English Teacher - Primary
"I started working at Europa School UK as a teaching assistant this year and I love it! With three children at the school we are as a family already fully committed to the unique concept of ESUK. When my youngest child started kindergarten and I was looking at opportunities to start work again the school seemed the obvious choice. Here I get to use my German all the time and the working hours are very family friendly. The Europa School UK is a very special place where children from many different nations not only learn European languages but also to embrace different cultural backgrounds and it feels like a real privilege to work at the school. Every day is different and the children’s enthusiasm is infectious. The feeling of even just playing a small part in a child learning new things and watching them having that “ah, I get it now”-moment is second to none. I work in a fantastic team of highly motivated teachers and teaching assistants from all over the world and very different walks of life.Julia Wolgemuth-Shaw, SEN German Teaching Assistant - Primary
