The Europa School UK is recruiting Primary Class Teachers starting in September, 2017

Posts available for a Spanish, German and English speaking teacher.  Command of the language should be C2 level (CEFR*)

  • English: KS1 or possibly KS2, depending on the right candidate.
  • Spanish: KS1
  • German: KS1 and KS2

IT Technician/Administrator

We are seeking an IT administrator for appointment as soon as possible in advance of the growth of the school to all-through and the integration of systems throughout our site.

The school uses predominantly open source software, including server design and the successful candidate would have relevant expertise.

Experience of IT systems in schools is preferred but not essential.

Interviews will be held from 24th April, but may be brought forward, so early application is advised.

The salary is based on Grade 9 of the Oxfordshire County Council Scale: £25694 to £28203

Europa School UK is unique as a UK state school in offering the European Schools’ curriculum and highly respected Baccalaureate.

In September 2017 the school will open a complete Secondary School, offering immediately the European Baccalaureate to the former pupils of the European School Culham.

Opening in 2012 Europa has already grown to a full Primary School, recently with three-form entry. The school has been consistently oversubscribed and plays a key role in offering a multilingual and multicultural education, with an emphasis also on science, well suited to the employment opportunities in Oxfordshire. 

The centrepiece of the Secondary School will be the beautiful grade-II listed buildings of Culham College which has hosted a European School since 1978. Europa School inherits from its predecessor a history of preparing students for outstanding success at universities in the UK, throughout Europe and beyond.

We are opening a full Secondary section in September 2017 and recruiting English speaking Secondary teachers of:

The school is multilingual. History and Geography are generally taught in French and German, although some will be in English initially. Other subjects other than languages are taught in English.

Teachers should hold QTS from the UK or the equivalent from another EU state. Ideally language teachers would hold a teaching qualification from a country in which the language is officially spoken.

Both full-time and part-time posts are avaiable and applications are considered from teachers who can combine subjects. Unless otherwise stated, the posts are permanent, subject to an initial probationary period. The salaries are based on the teachers pay-scale.
